Gen-next Cricket Institute-Creating Tomorrow's Cricketing Superstars

At the very outset we would like to thank all our parents and young budding cricketers for having reimposed their faith on us. Without your kind patronage we would not have been where we stand today. We are extremely happy and proud to bring before you, yet another initiative from Gen-next Cricket Institute, an exclusive blog page. Through these blog pages we will strive to bring to you exciting news and updates from the World of Cricket and latest happenings at Gen-next Cricket Institute.

We are very clear from the day we started this Cricket Institute, that is to be a clear differentiator in the field of coaching and not to be one more run of the mill Training Center for Cricket. Our Motto is To Create Tomorrow's Cricketing Superstars. All the steps and processes that we design lay centered around our Motto. All the coaching techniques that we follow are to ensure that we stand by our objective. Our Coaches and staff are trained and mentored to fall in line with our corporate goals. The aim of this particular blog is to give you our dear readers a glimpse some of the processes that we follow.

We have invested in the very best of infrastructure to ensure that our wards are exposed to the very best of cricketing equipments and latest technology. Take for instance our bowling machine. A lot of institutes can boast of bowling machines but here we ensure that they are made best use of. In this case for instance, the batsman in question had a knack of edging the ball to the slips. We had to ensure that he got rid of this habit. So the correction in this case would be for him to go on to the back-foot, while allowing the ball to come on to the bat. Right usage of the bowling machine is very important to correct a faulty batting technique.

It is insisted from day one that the bowlers bowl the right lengths. We often see in international matches how a wrong length can cost a lot of runs. At our institute the bowlers are trained to bowl at predetermined spots to ensure that they get their line and length right.

We use several innovative methods to ensure that our players get used to variable amounts of pace and spin. In this case use of a tennis racket ensures that a batsman gets used to that extra bit of pace and bounce.

Catch them young as in most cases when it comes to the sporting arena and so we ensure that all of our wards are given top class attention so that they stand corrected at a tender age. The bowling run-up, the action, the way to grip the ball, the use of the crease all becomes so very important. Here in our institute we ensure that our coaches are there focusing all their energies on each and every aspect of the game from close quarters.

Is it enough for a batsman to hold a bat and hit the shots as prescribed. No there is clearly much more to this art. The balance of the body and the position of the head all come into play. Our coaches have designed methods to ensure that the batsman does not fall out of place while facing a delivery.

We ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of our infrastructure. We have match standard turfs that is watered and maintained on a daily basis by our own dedicated staff.

Each minutest of detail is taken care of. Each step that we take is in the larger interest of our wards who have placed their faith on us. We feel accountable for their performance on field and therefore we find it necessary to report back to the parents on how their children are performing on the field. We have prescribed reporting formats that show the parents the progress on a monthly basis.

We have well qualified and dedicated staff to give off their very best, and we leave no stone unturned to ensure that we remain glued to our objectives. Just to give you an instance we have Coach Srinivasan who comes all the way from Selaiyur (a suburb in Chennai a good 25 kms away) to coach the children and he does it twice a day.

Then we have the ever reliable Coach Aravind who used to play along with Ashwin in his school days.

All of it is managed by our young and energetic COO, Sudarshan

Each stone at our institute has a story to tell. Do visit our facility and tell us what we can do better. We also have planned a sixty day summer camp, each day has been planned to a micro level and we want to ensure that each student as a part of the camp is advised to take the next step forward, above all the icing on the cake has to be, each child as a part of the camp gets to be mentored by the World's best all rounder, Ravichandran Ashwin. For Further details regarding the camp do get in touch with Sudarshan on his Mobile: 9841784061.

Do follow our blogs and leave us with your valuable feedback. We promise to keep writing back to you, about our coaches, our facilities, our promising stars and much much more.
